In the book results of researches are presented which were carried out within the framework of INTAS Projects by scientists from Ukraine, Holland, Great Britain, Belgium, Russia, Armenia, Georgia and USA. The book consists of four basic parts. The first part is devoted to the different facets of social identification and politics, the second — “Societal tradition democracy, market economy and ecology” reflects the views of the authors at the present day psychological problem. In the third part problem of family in West and East are discussed, and the last, fourth part is devoted to studying of behavior of youth in the countries of East, Western Europe and the USA. The book can be useful to sociologists, psychologists, economists, everyone who is interested in social and psychological changes, occurring in the countries of the East Europe which were formed after disintegration of the USSR. The first Handbook on psychodiagnostics in Russia and in Ukraine. The history of psychodiagnostics is in detail discussed, the subject and a method of this area of psychology are in a new determined. The concept earlier formulated by the author as “measured individuality” received further development. On pages of Handbook author aspires to give the answer to two basic questions: what do we measure and to what extent are the measurements exact and correct in the field of the mental phenomena. Handbook is intended for students, post-graduate students, and also experts in the field of psychological diagnostics.
